you don't suck, honey. you're just in need of money. like me. look at the bright side -- at least they hired you. i'm in the same position as you and i can't even get one of those shitty jobs. boy, that really makes one feel crappy!!! hang in there...things can only get better, right?
I just cannot abide with this "I hate myself" talk. You told me once that the job doesn't make the person - that it wasn't the measure of success. Look at all you've accomplished. Look at all the things you've learned in the past few years that have nothing to do with the law. Look at how much better your life is NOW than it was before - regardless of the job. Look at how brave you are to move up here and go for it. I'll be the first one to admit that it's probably a lot easier to be chipper with a job in the pocket and all that jazz... but from my vantage point, the only thing I see when I look at you is a wonderful person and a fantastic friend... one who's going to make it just like the rest of us.
